American Airshow Review was founded in 2023 by Chaz Teets—an aviation photographer, writer, and lifelong aviation enthusiast with deep personal ties to flight. Growing up as the grandson of two World War II veterans, Chaz developed an early fascination with aircraft and the stories of those who flew them. That passion only grew stronger over the years, eventually leading him to join the Civil Air Patrol and later launch this platform to share the thrill of airshows with a wider audience. Today, American Airshow Review covers events across the United States through compelling photography, writing, and video—aiming to capture not just the spectacle, but the people and purpose behind it. Whether you’re an airshow performer, aviation professional, or someone who simply loves the sound of engines in the sky, we’re here to connect you to the heart of aviation.
